New York EBT Deposit Dates — September 2026

New York deposits SNAP benefits between the 1st and the 9th of the month outside NYC, and over the first two weeks in New York City — September deposits run from Tuesday, September 1, 2026 through Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Outside New York City, your deposit day is based on the last digit of your case number (first 9 days of the month). New York City uses a different system — see the note below. September 2026 deposit dates for every New York household

New York City households are paid over the first two weeks of the month based on the second-to-last digit of the case number (the “toe digit”), and the exact dates change every month. OTDA publishes the current NYC schedule at otda.ny.gov. The table above applies to counties outside NYC only.

Dates above include weekends — EBT deposits in New York are electronic and load on the same calendar day even on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
